I Still Believe in You

He was in dire straights. He needed some financial help. Their band’s name was Dire Straights. And they needed another band member for their world tour.

It was the perfect opportunity. Both parties mutually getting what they needed. And who knows how that could have turned out for both of them. The world will never know.

Because  he turned the band down. It was around the year 1989 and this up and coming star wanted nothing more than to make his mark on the country music world. He called them back and regretfully declined because he felt he could do something great in the country world.

And so a man with financial difficulties chose to stay there and the band would have to find someone else.
